How we look after the photos you send
The Green Dragon, Bungay uses this page to collect photos for its posters, social media, website and printed material.
What we keep
- The photos, exactly as you sent them. Some phones record where a photo was taken; we keep that in our private copy and take it out of any copy we use.
- Your name and email address as Omni Tend gives them when you sign in, so we know who sent each photo and who to ask about it.
- The note you write, if any, and the names of the files.
- The time you sent them, and the exact words you agreed to.
Why
To choose photos for our marketing, with your permission, and to be able to show that we had it. The legal basis is your consent, given when you tick the boxes.
Who can see them
Anyone on the staff who signs in here can see the photos sent, as small previews, with the sender's name and note. The previews carry no location or camera details. Your email address is never shown.
Where, and for how long
Photos are stored privately with Amazon Web Services in Stockholm, in the EU. Nothing is published by sending it.
- Photos we do not choose are deleted when we look through them, and in any case after 90 days.
- Photos we choose are kept for as long as we use them, with the record of your permission beside them.
Stopping a photo being used
Email info@greendragonbungay.co.uk and say which photo. We will delete it from our library and our storage and not use it in anything new. Posters already printed, and posts already published, stay as they are.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or for it to be corrected or deleted, at the same address. If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
